CPTED practitioners seek to "harden" or reduce the attractiveness of potential crime targets. Using the approaches,  such as Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design, ensures that all spaces are defined, properly designed, and have a designated use.  Altogether these strategies and tools seek to deflect and deter crime within and around properties and communities.
 
​Through this program, clients will benefit both from a victimization standpoint and liability mitigation.  Offering a security audit for municipally controlled public spaces,  residence properties and commercial properties, we can not only begin to lower incidents of crime but also to begin to lower the perception of crime.

Community Safety Programs

Community safety planning focuses on promoting a secure and inclusive environment by addressing key safety concerns across all age groups.
Peaceman Consulting will work with clients to design engaging presentations targeting youth, parents, elderly persons and their families to raise awareness of topics, such as:
  • youth safety initiatives, such as anti-bullying campaigns and safe driving habits for new drivers
  • internet safety education to protect against online threats
  • elderly scam awareness to prevent financial exploitation.
  • Safe driving programs aim to reduce accidents through education and enforcement for both new and elderly drivers
  • youth substance abuse prevention fosters healthy choices through awareness raising and mentorship
